Lessons

The lesson on August 19, 2018 was part 6 of “Practical Lessons and Right Division” study.  This study has been looking at different aspects of our practical walk in this age with our specific calling.  It is important that we learn of the distinctives or our calling how we may then walk worthy.  Wayne continues the focus on Ephesians 3:3-21 and the very unique truth that PAul is sharing with us and how God is wanting to reconcile “The All Things” which includes Adamic man on the Earth but also Principalities and Powers in Heavenly Places.  We learn how important the role of Headship plays in this calling.  God has established the head of the Church is Christ, the head of the family is the man.  In verse 10 we learn that now (when the Mystery was revealed) the church is a witness of the manifold wisdom of God to these Principlalities and Powers in heavenly places. We finally get to Ephesians 4 which is where we are told to make a walk that is worthy based on these distinctives we have learned in the first three chapters.    The scripture reading was from Psalms 68:15-17 KJV

“15 The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan. 16 Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the Lord will dwell in it for ever. 17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.”
