The lesson on November 1, 2015 was part 3 of the “Man, His Nature and Destiny” study.  This lesson reviewed what we learned about Gehenna from part 2 and studied the terms Sheol and Hades.  Traditionally, these terms are associated with the location of those souls who have been judged and the location reserved for the devil and his angels but when you study the Greek and the context of when and how these words are used, we learn that they are descriptive of places involving local judgement or the grave.  It is important to understand what these words mean and how it impacts man’s destiny with their immortal soul.  The scripture reading was in Psalms 16:9-11 KJV

“9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. 10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
