Day of Christ

A Transition Period – The Day of Christ

The last days of the hidden plan coincides with the beginning of the “last days” of the revealed plan. As in the close of the acts period, there is a period of transition. This period could be 16, 23 or 49 years? The return of Elijah (Mal. 4:5,6 Matt. 17:11) would end the dispensation of the hidden purpose with enlightenment.

Christ is to rule from the heavens. (Psa. 110:1; acts 3:21). This is a time of rebellion. (Psa. 2; 2 Thess. 2:3,4) “Last Days” of the revealed plan

Present believers await this Day of Christ (Philippians 1:6-10, Philippians 2:16). True Israel awaits this as Messiah’s Day (Malachi 3:16-4:6; Matthew 11:13-15, 17:11-13 Psalm 110:1) This Day begins with Christ ruling from Heaven (Acts 2:16-21, Amos 9:11; Hosea 3:4,5, Hosea 5:15-6:3, Isaiah 2:2-5, Zechariah 8:13,23, Joel 2:27-32.) Then a revolt against Messiah occurs (Psalms 2; Joel 3), but the revolt is put down with Messiah’s coming (parousia) to Earth to continue His rule.
