Return of Elijah
The Return of Elijah
Romans 9:4 says emphatically that the promises of God belong to Israel. The Old Testament canon closes out the promises to Israel with one of the most pointed statements to be made in all the Word of God. It is a promise that is yet to be kept by God: “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet BEFORE the coming of the great and dreadful DAY OF THE LORD (Jehovah): and He shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”

The Bride
Dr. R. A. Hadden wrote:
“It is assumed almost universally that the Church of the present dispensation is at once the ‘Body of Christ’ and ‘the Bride. . . Traditional theology, unscriptural hymnology, amazing disregard for correct interpretation, intolerant zeal for dogmatic human opinions together with careless, defective instruction, have united for generations in perpetuating a phase of teaching possessing no foundation in or authority from Holy Scripture and perpetrating a system that plunges multitudes of believers in dire confusion concerning the plan, purpose and program of God for ‘the church which is His Body’ as distinct from the Divine purpose concerning another out-calling known as ‘the Bride, the Lamb’s wife.'”
Simply stated, the church which is the Body of Christ is not the Bride. Israel is the Bride and has always had that relationship with God.
A Transition Period
A Transition Period – The Day of Christ
The last days of the hidden plan coincides with the beginning of the “last days” of the revealed plan. As in the close of the acts period, there is a period of transition. This period could be 16, 23 or 49 years? The return of Elijah (Mal. 4:5,6 Matt. 17:11) would end the dispensation of the hidden purpose with enlightenment.
Christ is to rule from the heavens. (Psa. 110:1; acts 3:21). This is a time of rebellion. (Psa. 2; 2 Thess. 2:3,4) “Last Days” of the revealed plan

War in Heaven Dragon Cast Out
Revelation 12:3-9 KJV
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. 5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Tribulation
The Great Tribulation
The great tribulation is divided into two equal periods of 1260 days each. During this time there will be the judgement of the Jews Ez. 20:34-38, 22:19-22; Jer. 30:4 -7; dan. 12:1. The day of the Anti-Christ when the Anti-Christ is accepted John 5:43 The Kingdom is counterfeited.
The happenings at this time introduce the Day of The Lord (Rev. 1:10; Isa. 2:11-17; Joel; Matt. 24, etc.). It is the day of the Lord’s wrath (Rev. 6:7). In the Old Testament it is called “Jacob’s Trouble” (Jer. 30:7). In the New Testament, it’s better known as “The Great Tribulation” (Matt. 24:21)

- And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
The Lake of Fire
Revelation 19:20-21 20:1-15 KJV
19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Resurrection
1 Corinthians 15:50-58 KJV 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Armageddon

Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
