The lesson on November 5, 2023 was part 12 of the “Wisdom” study.  This lesson was based in Proverbs 11.  Wayne recapped the previous lesson but moved into a list from this chapter that shows wisdom from a comparison between good and bad and it is using the word “but” to point them out. We go through 20 verses in chapter 11 where it is conveying this wisdom and Wayne expands on what each is teaching us.  Further, he then looks at the verses that use the word “and” to emphasize some continuation of thought.  In Proverbs 11:7, we learn how expectations can impact the believer and we looked at Psalms 73 as an example of how we can be envious of the wealthy and desire the have their things but when considered from a spiritual perspective in the Sanctuary, it is all for naught.  An example today is that of ignorant Christians hoping for the promises given to Israel where God has made the two, one new man.  Through right division, we see in our calling in the Mystery, that explains how Christ is our peace and broke down the middle wall between us and made us fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God (from Ephesians 2:14-3:1 KJV). When you go through all these passages that talk about the temple (Matt. 23:16-17, 21, 35; 26:61; 27:5, 40, 51; Mk. 14:58; 15:29, 38; Lk. 1:9, 21-22; 23:45; Jn. 2:19-21; Acts 7:48; 17:24; 19:24; 1 Cor. 3:16-17; 6:19; 2 Cor. 6:16; Eph. 2:21; 2 Thess. 2:4; Rev. 3:12; 7:15; 11:1-2, 19; 14:15, 17; 15:5-6, 8; 16:1, 17; 21:22) you will find that the body is the temple for the holy spirit, which is why you want to keep it pure.

The scripture reading was from Proverbs 11:27-31 KJV “27 He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him. 28 He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch. 29 He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart. 30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. 31 Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.”
