The lesson on November 19, 2017 was part 36 of “The U, V and W of Right Division”.  Wayne took the first 22 minutes of the lesson to give an example of how we could minister Right Division in a way that would involve animation and graphics that would answer a question or belief in such a way that they understand it in the context of what right division does for the student of scripture.  He gave an example of some believe that scripture teaches only one gospel.  Wayne give a sample script how we might explain it in a way that exposes the statement to be false by showing the answer eloquently with a video.  The example he used was from the Bible Project in examining the Hebrew word “nephesh”.  We learn inoffensively that it means throat or neck, which could be used to describe the person.  It does not mean “Soul” which is how the Greek interpreters explained it.  The last part of the lesson was wrapping up Calvinism and Romans chapter 9, especially focusing in on hardening.  The scripture reading was from Luke 18:31-34 KJV

“31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished. 32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on: 33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again. 34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
