The lesson on February 18, 2018 was part 11 of “Mid-Acts or Acts 28?” study.  Wayne continued the thought of comparing the body of Christ metaphor to the church which is his body digging deeper in scripture to find evidence that the gifts that were given during Acts were fading away and those gifts given with the revelation of the Mystery were individuals who were mending the previous body of Christ into the new calling and the gospel of the unsearchable riches of Christ.  We also looked at the laying on of hands were part of the old economy which we read in Numbers and Ezekiel.  The gifts that were part of the Acts period slowly faded away and all that we have left now is the gospel of the unsearchable riches of Christ which is key to the blessed hope we have in the Mystery.  The scripture reading was from 2 Timothy 1:1-6 KJV

“1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope; 2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. 3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. 5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: 6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;”
