All Truth – Part 4. This lesson is the fourth in a series based on the book “All Truth” by J. Eustas Mills which discusses how God has revealed his truth progressively throughout scripture. It also reminds us how God has promised to give us “all truth” and it’s our responsibility to take it. All scripture is written for us but not all scripture is to us. This means that we have to learn the principles of right division so we can differentiate our truth for today vs. the instructions for yesterday in another calling. For example, the rich young ruler asked in Matt 19:16 (KJV) “Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?” The answer we would have today to this question would be that we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior. However, at that time, Jesus answered in Matt 19:17 (KJV) “ Why callest thou me good ? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.” Who today would say that is the requirement for eternal life?
