Keeping Covenants in Context (during the Acts period). Acts 13:46 says “It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you (Israel)…” This is the thrust of the book of Acts. When the Apostle Paul said this he continues with “seeing you (Israel) put it from you… we turn to the Gentiles.” Some see this passage in Acts 13 as a dispensational change but it was not. When God sent Paul to the Gentiles, it wasn’t until Acts 28:28 that salvation was sent (authorized) unto the Gentiles. Acts 13:46 is part of Old Testament prophecy and wasn’t anything new. On the other hand, Colossians 1:25-26 tells us that The Mystery which was revealed after Acts 28:28, was hidden in God and not part of Old Testament covenants, callings, or writings. The lesson on 06-10 teaches how to keep the Covenants in context during the Acts period and helps you to clarify the different callings in scripture. Listen now.
