The lesson on January 5, 2020 was part 37 of the “Genesis” study.  Wayne spent time bringing us up to the current place in this Genesis study by reviewing the rabbit trails we followed to better understand the separate callings between Israel and our calling in the Mystery.  In doing so, Wayne reviewed the four deportations of Israel as reflected in 2 Chronicles and synced that up with the time in the New Testament when these four deportations occurred. He then reviewed the reference in Isaiah 6:9-10 where it is quoted 7 times in the New Testament showing the hardening of the heart of Israel.  We then reviewed the Remnant that Paul was reaching out to in the Acts period where he wrote the book of Romans.  He reviewed the way that some Christians today who try to replace Israel as spiritual Israel.  Wayne makes is clear that Israel has its own calling and inheritance that will be fulfilled as well as those Christians in the Mystery have our own calling and inheritance.  In Ephesians 1:5 we learn “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will” that Christ has predestinated us unto Adoption!  When we are raised in the resurrection, we will have a body fashioned to accomplish what He wants us to do in Heavenly Places ministering to Principalities.  Wayne finished the lesson in Genesis 6 looking at the Sons of God (Angels) who had children with Adamic women who produced Giants (or Nephilim).   The scripture reading was from Genesis 6:1-4 KJV

 

“1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”
