Acts Period Epistles – Part 1. An Understanding Heart. The lesson on 02-04 discusses the idea of having an understanding heart. God shows us in scripture that the Nation of Israel had one but lost it when Nebuchadnezzar conquered them. At that time God’s glory left the temple and did not return until Jesus Christ came to Israel as King. Then, when Israel as a nation was presented the King as well as the Kingdom, they rejected them, showing Israel did not have an understanding heart. Today God has given us a calling with the administration of The Mystery. As it was with Israel, God has the same desire that we have an understanding heart so we may know what our calling is today… but this time it’s not the Kingdom calling… it’s something else!
