The 1000 year Millennium

The Millennium and the Kingdom of Heaven

The Kingdom Dispensation (1000 Years – Rev. 20:4) The recalling of Israel brings the long-awaited Kingdom of Prophecy into fulfillment. One Thousand Years of righteous government shall follow. A time when the chosen nation shall be a blessing and a benediction to the nations of the earth (Zech. 8:13:,23; Ex.19:6). A time when God shall call earthly people to stand (consist). Yes, they will stand because the Lord has spoken it, and He will do it. (Ezek. 36:25-28,36; Rom. 11:11-36; Acts 15::16; Jer. 30:31; Isa. 61:62; Zech. 12-14)

Mankind as a whole (the nations), those nations that survive the Great Tribulation (Rev. 7:9,14; 19:15; 20:4), will the nations stand? Some few may but most, no, for it is written “He shall rule them with a rod of iron” (Rev. 19:15). Note that punishment is meted out to the disobedient ones (Zech. 14:16-19). Not only so, but the nations are in complete revolt at the conclusion of the one thousand years (Rev. 20:7,8).

Hence, mankind as a whole will not stand even while Satan has been chained in the bottomless pit during this dispensation. Satan cannot be the excuse for their revolt. All this proves “that which is born of the flesh is flesh” and remains flesh. Only “that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit” and remains spirit (John 3:6). Consequently, those gentiles who might stand would be converts to Israel. (Exodus 12:48)

The New Covenant

Although the Lord ratified the New Covenant by His own blood yet it has not been actually made with Israel. “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah, and those days will be when the Lord comes to them a second time. The Lord’s return at the consummation of the age has already been seen to be the time when the Kingdom will be established, and Israel will be restored, and now the New Covenant shows how that will be the great occasion when God “shall take away their sins.”

“And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: for this is My Covenant unto them, when I shall take way their sins” (Rom 11:26-27).

The New Covenant will thus cause Israel to be made what God has intended they should be – they shall be My people” (Jer. 31:31-33). Israel were unable to keep the Old Covenant whereby their inheritance was promised them conditionally upon their righteousness according to the law, but under the New Covenant God will put His law in their inward parts, their sins will be taken away, and then they shall be established in their promised land (Ezek. 36:24-28; 11:17-20). The Israel who shall then be God’s people will not be an Israel as we know them today, but they will have been changed and given “a new heart.”
