Adam Created 4004 BC
Eden – The Garden of God (Genesis 2:8). The Dispensation of Adam (Genesis 1:28-30). A time of probation (Genesis 2:15-17). A time of innocence (Genesis 2:25; 1:26-28; 2:1-25). A time of testing (Genesis 3:6b-13). When God created Adam and Eve and placed them in the garden, He put but one law for them to follow (Genesis 2:16-17). Why? Had God not created this stipulation, Adam and Eve would still be in the Garden fellowshipping with Him. It was God’s desire to create a being that had free will to choose between right and wrong. This gift of choice allowed them to love freely without being coerced to do so. The sovereignty of God and the Free Will of man was placed in a garden.
Adam was created in 4004BC and placed in the Garden of God where God and His creation fellowshiped together. Here is where Adam was given the responsibility to dress and keep (meaning “guard”) the garden (Genesis 2:15). The relationship between the creator and His creation was special to a loving Heavenly Father Notice how God was walking in the garden even after the fall (Genesis 3:8) like He had so many times with Adam prior to Adam’s transgression. It is written that all things were created for His pleasure (Revelation 4:11) and no doubt God takes great pleasure when we fellowship with Him.
