The lesson on December 18, 2011 was part 3 of "Christmas the Philippian Way".  The scripture reading was from Philippians 2:5-11 KJV "5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

The lesson on December 11, 2011 was part 2 of the study "Christmas The Philippian Way".  The scripture reading was from Matthew 1:18-25 KJV "18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

This study given in December 2011 looks at the Christmas Story from a Philippian perspective.  This story has been looked at from many perspectives, but this study looks at the birth of Christ from a perspective of those Christians in Philippians who were instructed by the Apostle Paul. This study also reviews the Real Christmas Story, by Clifford McLain.
