Study Papers on “The Mystery”

 by C.E. McLain, 1987

Purpose of the Studies

"And to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 3:9) KJV.

[Literal: "and to bring to light what (is) the stewardship of the mystery - having been hidden from the ages in God the (one) all things having created," The Interlinear Greek-English New Testament, Marshall's literal English translation with the Nestle Greek Text.]

"That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ" (Philippians 1:10).

[Literal: "for that ye may prove the things differing, in order that ye may be sincere and unoffending in (the) day of Christ" - from above interlinear reference.]

"For this cause we also...desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;" (Colossians 1: 9-11).

"That we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:" (Colossians 1:28b).

Bear in mind that these are germ truths....Mac. [Dr. C. E. McLain]
