Dispensational Truth

RightDivision.com consists of material to assist the student of God with Evangelical, Fundamental, and Dispensational studies.  Step 3 provides studies on the Dispensational callings in scripture, particularly your specific calling today.   By studying to be approved unto God, you will be able  to grow up from the milk of the Word to exercise with  the meat of scripture.  Follow these links  if you want to learn more about the Evangelical (Step 1) or Fundamental (Step 2) material on this site.

1.  The correct handling of the Scriptures (2 Timothy 2:15) that in the interpretation of Scripture it is important to take account not only of what is written but of whom, to whom, with what words, at what time, to what intent, with what circumstances, and considering what goes before and what comes after.

2.  The need to take note in Scripture of God’s different dealings with men at different times and places and in particular the change recorded in Acts 28:17-31 with the resulting ministry of the Apostle Paul the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of the Gentiles (Ephesians 3:1-9).

3.  After the close of the Acts period and the setting aside of Israel as God's source for salvation (Acts 28:28), the Apostle Paul was given a special ministry (Col 1:25) which was to reveal God's hidden plan to the Gentiles. This hidden plan was never before made known in other ages or to the other generations (Col 1:26) but was revealed by direct revelation from Christ to the Apostle Paul (Eph 3:5).  Paul then taught this truth to the Gentiles while completing the last 7 letters written in the Bible (chronolocially, these are Ephesians, Colossians, Philemon, Philippians, Titus, 1 and 2 Timothy).  This body of truth is called The Mystery (Eph 3:9; Col 1:25-26) and the believers during this administration have a calling, blessings, and inheritance apart from Abraham (Abraham and his decendants will receive what they have been promised).  Click here to find out more about your calling in scripture!

Approaching The Bible - Audio/Video Series

MPenny_xsm Here is a new audio and video series from a seminar that was held in Oklahoma City on October 12 & 13, 2005.  Mike and Sylvia Penny were invited to present a study on Approaching The Bible which is the title to one of his publications that teaches on studying the word of God, rightly divided.  The series was presented over two evenings and it included a Powerpoint presentation for each lesson.  The audio was combined with the slides for presentation on RightDivision.com.  Click here to review each lesson.  You may want to order the book from Open Bible Trust as well.

Right Division

Why is it important to study the bible rightly divided?  Listen why now.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15  (KJV)

This verse means that one should earnestly endeavor, strive with all his might, to be approved unto God (not to his fellowmen).  This will involve study as we think of it, too.  For one cannot be approved unless he has learned the will of God.  That only can be learned from the Word of God.  Click here to find out more about the concept of Right Division.

Dispensations

If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:  Ephesians 3:2 (KJV)

All those whose desire is to understand the Bible should take note of the fact that God's dealings with mankind have not followed a uniform pattern.

Be sure and visit the new studies on Prophecy!

Both His human agents (His stewards) and His mode of operation have changed from time to time. In all God's ways His ultimate aim has been the same - the restoration and salvation of mankind.   Click here to learn more about the different dispensations in scripture.

Your Calling

Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;  Colossians 1:25 (KJV)

What dispensation is active today?  What administrative changes took place for our place in God’s plan?  After the close of the Acts period and the setting aside of Israel as God's source for salvation (Acts 28:28), the Apostle Paul was given a special ministry (Col 1:25) which was to reveal God's hidden plan to the Gentiles. This hidden plan was never before made known in other ages or to the other generations (Col 1:26) but was revealed by direct revelation from Christ to the Apostle Paul (Eph 3:5).  Click here to learn more about your calling today.

Dispensational FAQ’s

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,  Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.  Ephesians 3:20-21  (KJV)
