Clifford E. “Mac” McLain

Audio Lessons by Clifford McLain

The Acts of The Apostles The book of Acts is sometimes called “The Book Between,” “a link,” the key to one phase of right division. This audio series takes you through the three parts of Acts. The first part is limited to Jerusalem and covers the first seven chapters. The second part is confined to Judea and Samaria and covers chapters eight through twelve. This third section, “unto the uttermost part of the earth,” consists of chapters thirteen through twenty-eight. Click here to start.

The Covenants Here is an audio series covering the Covenants in scripture. It was given by Dr. Clifford McLain in 1986 near his retirement as pastor of Northside Bible Church. This audio series is one that covers the promises made by God throughout the ages as revealed in scripture. A good compliment to these audio lessons are the articles on Covenants as well as the large dispenational chart found in the Charts section. There are 19 lessons on the topic of Covenants. Go there now

Kingdom of God - New! Here is a comprehensive audio series studying the “Kingdom of God” and all the aspects of what it entails for the Christian today. Much confusion has resulted from the lack of biblical understanding about “Kingdoms” in scripture because they don’t understand the different attributes of each “KIngdom” mentioned in scripture. Listen to this series to gain a greater understanding of the Kingdom of God.

Dr. McLain founded Grace Institute of the Bible in Oklahoma City, serving as its director for several years and teacher for 5 years. He co-founded with Ben McCammon Northside Bible Church in 1966. He hosted a successful, live radio program, “What’s the Question,” on KQCV for several years. Until the last few years of his life, he conducted frequent Bible seminars at Big Spring Federal Prison, Texas, and maintained contact with many of the men who had been influenced to turn to the Christian life through his teachings. He was probably best known for his various Bible studies throughout the Oklahoma City area, and occasionally, other cities in Oklahoma as requested.

Authoring several books, numerous study papers, charts and sermon and study cassette tapes, Dr. McLain’s principal emphasis was on the calling of Ephesians 3:9: “To make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery.” Consequently, his works focused on the Apostle Paul’s epistles written after Acts 28:28 -- the “Mystery” letters. From his teaching, a multitude of Christians have more correctly understood those letters (Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, I & II Timothy, Titus and Philemon) concerning Apostle Paul’s ministry and our present dispensational calling and hope.

Dr. McLain went to be with the Lord on March 4, 1990 in Oklahoma City, and his legacy is eternal.

Be sure and check the Publications section for books and pamplets written by Dr. McLain as well. For more about Clifford Mclain... click here.
