America’s Founders and Nature’s God. The Declaration of
Independence of the United States of America acknowledges faith towards a supreme God who created mankind. The Declaration also acknowledges
by all who signed it, the laws of God, the providence of God, and the judgment of God. The Declaration also appeals to God as the Supreme
Judge of the world for their intentions. Furthermore, for the support of this Declaration, the signers relied firmly on the protection of Divine Providence.

The Declaration of Independence. “When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political
bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth,
the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitles them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind

requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident,
that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the
pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the
governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the
right of the people to alter or to abolish it and to institute new government, laying its foundation on
such principles and organizing its powers in such form as to them shall seem most likely to effect
their safety and happiness. We, therefore, the Representatives of the United States of America, in general Congress
assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name and by the
authority of the good people of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare that these United Colonies are, and of right
ought to be, free and independent States; that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown and that all political
connection between them and the State of Great Britain is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as free and
independent States, they have full power to levy war, conclude peace, contract alliance, establish commerce, and do all
other acts and things which independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm
reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.”
Be not ashamed.
The Apostle Paul wrote unto Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:8-12 (KJV) “Be not thou
therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the
afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called us with an
holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was
given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our
Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light
through the gospel: Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the
Gentiles. For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know
whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” Paul was encouraging Timothy not to be ashamed of the Gospel that was
commited unto him. Today, man is busy searching about “Sanctified Psychology” or among Christian circles, the pursuit of
“Comparitive Sin Analysis”. Some feel compeled to define “Victomology” and push the fault of whatever ails you onto
someone or something else. Being born sinners, mankind is in real need of a Savior. It’s the proper pursuit of that Gospel
that leads us to Christ Jesus and His calling for us today. We are to learn the scriptures, rightly divided, and be not

Hold the form of sound words
. This is the admonition Paul gave to Timothy in the last book of the bible, chronologically speaking. 2 Timothy 1:13 (KJV) says “Hold fast the form of sound
words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.” It is customary
that the last orders given supercedes all previous orders. One might say this holds true for handling the word of God accurately. If you don’t know the difference between the canon of scripture and the chronology of
the bible, please study more about the differences here. As christians, we are called to get into the word. How
often do you study? The bible is not a book just to pull off the shelf on Sunday. We are to get
into scripture each and every day so we may learn about Christ and our specific calling in order to be found faithful. Matthew 12:35-37 (KJV) says “A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil
man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they
shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” Which words to we hide in our heart? The bible gives us our doctrine. The doctrine is the root and the fruit
