An Understanding Heart. The lesson on 02-04 discusses the idea of having an understanding heart.

God shows us in scripture that the Nation of Israel had one but lost it when Nebuchadnezzar conquered them. At that time God's glory left the temple and did not return until Jesus Christ came to Israel as King. Then, when Israel as a nation was presented the King as well as the Kingdom, they rejected them, showing Israel did not have an understanding heart. Today God has given us a calling with the administration of The Mystery. As it was with Israel, God has the same desire that we have an understanding heart so we may know what our calling is today... but this time it’s not the Kingdom calling... it’s something else!

Wisdom and Undersatanding. The lesson on 02-11 taught on Wisdom and Understanding. Two individuals from the Bible, Solomon and the Apostle Paul, provide the backdrop for this study comparing and contrasting wisdom and understanding in their lives. Acts Period Chronology. The lesson on 02-18 continues the study presented on 02-04 and covers the chronology of the New Testament books written during the Acts Period. God's given us objective truth in the bible... it's what the bible says... Subjective truth is what you believe the bible says... and it's what you do with it. Why has Everyone Gone APE? The lesson on 02-25 asks the question “Why has everyone gone APE?” The Acts Period Epistles cover God's revealed plan to Israel. Today, they appeal to those who search for a supernatual solution to their problems vs. a walk of faith in an age of grace. Man continues to search for utopia while evil people prosper. Often we might find ourselves lusting after their success or power. Perhaps this is another reason why doctrine from the Acts Period is so appealing. During the Acts apostles were given power to help witness for Christ . Should Christians today be searching for signs and wonders or searching the scriptures with prayer and thanksgiving for the grace of God? Click here to listen for an answer.
